What does charging your electric car with a GigaCharger station outside your house or building cost?

When choosing which fuel-powered car to buy, you will probably pay attention to the approximate fuel consumption quoted by the seller.

Electric cars, on the other hand, are a little harder to get your head around.

There are many preconceptions that electric vehicles cost more than combustion-engined ones, but in fact electric vehicles become the cheaper option over time. So what does charging an electric car cost?

The answer depends on your electricity supplier, the region you live in, the time of year and the time of day you plan to charge your car.

The cost of installing a charging station at home

Here the price can vary depending on the company you have chosen, the model, the power rating and more.

With GigaCharger it is simple, because the investment is currently 0 lv. Delivery, installation and the charging station itself are free for the customer.

The charging stations we offer are compact and convenient, with different mounting options – on a façade or on paving – and can be installed without getting in anyone's way. The charging speed depends on the power of the station. We give you two options – up to 7.4 kWh or up to 22 kWh.

So if your car's battery is 60 kWh, it will charge in around 8 or around 3 hours respectively, from 0% to 100%.

When you have your own charging station you have the option of charging at the cost price of electricity, which means you can take advantage of the night tariff. That would reduce the cost of charging your electric car to a minimum.

Our customers tell us that charging their car overnight costs between 5 lv. and 9 lv. depending on the state of the battery. During the day the price is also many times lower than filling your car with fuel. The figures here come to between about 10 lv. and about 23 lv. for a 60 kWh battery, for example, charging it from 0 to 100%.

We are aware that there will be times when you need to charge in public places, but we have set out to build quality, reliable infrastructure of low-tariff charging stations so that more and more people can experience the convenience electric cars offer.
