Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences — what is in your cart, which language you read, whether you have already answered the consent banner.

First-party cookies are set by gigacharger.net itself. Third-party cookies are set by services we embed, such as Stripe, Google or Meta.

On your first visit a banner asks which categories you allow. Strictly necessary cookies are set regardless, because the site cannot function without them; analytics and marketing cookies are loaded only after you accept them. Until you decide, nothing optional is loaded.

• An acceptance or a customised choice is remembered for 180 days.
• A “necessary only” choice is remembered for 90 days, after which we ask once more.
• Your choice is stored in the first-party gc_consent cookie — no account and no personal data are involved.
• Whenever we add a new vendor we reset every stored choice and ask again.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the “Cookie preferences” button at the bottom of every page. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and does not affect processing carried out before it.

These keep the basics working — the shopping cart, the admin sign-in, spam protection and card payments. They cannot be switched off and rely on our legitimate interest in providing the service you requested.

These help us see which pages are read and where visitors get stuck, so we can improve the site. The data is aggregated and never used to contact you. They load only with your consent.

We currently load no cookies in this category. If that changes we will list them here and ask for your consent again.

These let us measure how our advertising performs and show more relevant messages on Meta and Google. Without them you still see ads — they are simply less relevant. They load only with your consent.

Where marketing consent is given, order and request events are also sent server-to-server to Meta's Conversions API, with your e-mail and phone irreversibly hashed before transmission.

The third parties whose cookies may appear above process the data under their own privacy policies:

Independently of our banner, every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies — usually under Settings → Privacy. You can also browse in a private/incognito window, where cookies are cleared when you close it.

Blocking all cookies at browser level will break parts of the site: the cart will not remember its contents, checkout may fail and the consent banner will reappear on every page, because the cookie recording your choice cannot be stored.
